The College of Education was founded in 1993 and its original location was within the building of the College of Science. During the 2003-2004 academic year, the College relocated to the site of the previous College of Medicine, which was located within the main campus building.

The division of Career and Hiring at the Faculty of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Babylon has announced an exciting opportunity for graduates, postgraduates, and anyone interested in publishing and authoring scientific documents. A free course on the Latex program will be held on Sunday, May 15th, 2022, in the Discussion Hall at the college.
