The College of Education was founded in 1993 and its original location was within the building of the College of Science. During the 2003-2004 academic year, the College relocated to the site of the previous College of Medicine, which was located within the main campus building.

Dar Al-Sadiq Cultural Foundation in Babylon issued a book in Arabic entitled “Physiology of the Thyroid Gland” by Assistant Professor Dr. Reem Abdel Rahim Al-Saad and teacher Dr. Dalia Amer Khudair Al-Sarraf. The book covers the physiology of the thyroid gland from all aspects, including embryonic development, histological, anatomical, and physiological aspects. In addition to diseases related to the thyroid gland and many diseases and treatment methods.
