The College of Education was founded in 1993 and its original location was within the building of the College of Science. During the 2003-2004 academic year, the College relocated to the site of the previous College of Medicine, which was located within the main campus building.

This prestigious ranking, known as the "Stanford Ranking," includes more than 160,000 researchers out of over 8 million active academics worldwide. The ranking takes into account 22 scientific fields and 176 subfields, considering factors such as the strength of international scientific publications, the number of research citations, the Hirsch index, and participation in reviewing and editing scientific papers in reputable journals This achievement adds to the College of Education for Pure Sciences' global recognition and highlights its commitment to excellence in scientific research and scholarly endeavors.
