Professor Dr. Abdul Kareem Jawad Rasheed Al-Bairmani, a faculty member in the Department of Physiology at the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, chaired the team responsible for establishing a master’s program in the field of Physics/Medical Physics at the College of Medicine, University of Al-Qadisiyah. The team included specialists in medical physics who assessed the availability of the necessary requirements for launching the master’s program.
During the visit, the team held a meeting with the college administration, represented by Dean Professor Dr. Aqeel Raheem Al-Barqaawi and Assistant Dean Professor Dr. Adnan Hamad Al-Hamdani, as well as faculty members from the department and the physics faculty. The warm and serious reception reflected their commitment to initiating the program.
The team’s agenda included a field visit to the college to assess infrastructure and human resources, as well as visits to the physics postgraduate laboratory, the postgraduate study hall, and the college library to review the availability of relevant sources and periodicals for the program.
The team also interviewed several faculty members involved in launching the program, including professors and assistant professors from the department’s staff, and reviewed the proposed curriculum and available research equipment related to the study.
At the conclusion of the visit, a certificate of appreciation was awarded to the team by Dean Professor Dr. Aqeel Raheem Al-Barqaawi in recognition of their dedicated efforts in evaluating the master’s program at the College of Medicine, University of Al-Qadisiyah
