Echocardiography Diploma Students at the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, Take Their Final Practical Exam
Thirteen students of the Echocardiography Diploma program at the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, took their final practical exam in Advanced Echocardiography at Marjan Medical City. The exam was supervised by the Head of the Department of Internal Medicine, Professor Dr. Hassan Salem Abd Al-Sada Al-Jumaili, the Postgraduate Studies Coordinator, Professor Dr. Uday Jassim Al-Salhi, and the Director of Marjan Teaching Hospital, Consultant Dr. Fadel Al-Sultani.
A distinguished group of faculty members, along with several cardiology and cardiac catheterization consultants from the health directorates of Babylon, Karbala, and Najaf, also participated in the examination.
The Head of the Department explained that the first day included three stations focused on pediatric echocardiography, while the second day covered five stations distributed among 4D echocardiography, adult echocardiography, slide examination, echocardiography report writing, and the final station dedicated to cardiac strain measurement (speckle-tracking echocardiography).
For his part, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mohanad Abbas Al-Shalaha, praised the efforts of all participants and presented them with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their contribution to supporting the educational process and their continued dedication in training and evaluating postgraduate students in the Advanced Echocardiography Diploma program.
